The Silicium Museum

Lear Siegler Old ComputerThe Silicium Museum is a computer museum in France which revives and showcases the world’s ancient computers.

Silicium is a non-profit museum which is located in Toulouse. What makes it unique and well-known is that it showcases old computers the world has used. It was founded in 1989 and drew out its inspiration of turning machines found in trashes in classic pieces.

The aim of the museum is to allow people to rediscover old computers no one will ever repair. Navigation is made easier because the system and the units are arranged in groups. Exhibitions are frequently organized in Silicium.

Because of the huge demand and interest, the organizer at Silicium finally came up with a catalogue written in French so that shipping can be made anywhere in the world.
